Khanyisa soon ventures into the lush grass near the dam and dives into the water with an excited leap.
She flaps her ears energetically while splashing and playfully hitting the water with her trunk. After a while, she rolls around in the mud, thoroughly enjoying herself.
Covered in mud, Khanyisa climbs a small hill to exit the water, only to quickly return for another splash session, accompanied by her human friends.
She continues her playful antics, splashing and immersing herself with renewed enthusiasm. Her handlers join the fun, splashing water back at her to help her stay cool.
