One of the most touching scenes on the street is a stray dog searching through garbage for a meal. These homeless animals face enormous challenges daily, often struggling to find enough food to survive. Unfortunately, they cannot always depend on humans for help, as many people are not kind to them.
In a desperate attempt to stay alive, one stray dog was seen scavenging outside a Starbucks in Grand Canyon Village, Arizona, an area where food sources are not readily available. Her luck changed, however, when she crossed paths with someone special.

Zach Lacher noticed the stray dog’s plight and was deeply moved by her condition. As reported by The Dodo, Zach said: “When she got closer, I was able to see how rough of shape her fur was in.”
Locals informed Zach that the authorities had been trying to rescue this dog but had not been successful. She had been living in the area for some time, wary of anyone who approached. Determined to help, Zach returned that night and waited for her to reappear. To his surprise, she came out that same night.
Yet, catching her proved challenging. She was distrustful of humans and often chased away by other dogs in the vicinity. Undeterred, Zach set up a humane trap the following day, but the pup was nowhere to be found.

Refusing to give up, Zach utilized a drone to search the area near the canyon in Arizona. “We put the drone up in the air, and we flew it down. I was probably flying it for about an hour, and I was checking the nooks and crannies, and I saw her big, puffy, white tail,” he explained.
Amazingly, the dog followed the drone back to Zach. Though puzzled by her actions, Zach was grateful. When she approached nearer, they tempted her with food, finally enticing the starving dog into the cage. Surprisingly, she showed no resistance, appearing relieved once she realized she had been saved.

Zach brought the dog, whom he named Haseya, to his home. Initially concerned about how Haseya and his cat, Jack, would interact, Zach was pleasantly surprised. “I was so ecstatic and pleasantly surprised when the first time they met, rubbing their faces against each other and playing,” he shared.
Despite the hardships she endured, Haseya proved to be gentle and sweet, adapting well to her new life. It’s heartwarming to see her get a second chance at a happy and secure life.
