Angelina Jolie Starts 2024 with a Stylish Shopping Day
Angelina Jolie began the new year with a fashionable shopping trip in Beverly Hills, enjoying quality time with her daughter Zahara.
On Friday, the 48-year-old Oscar winner was seen at Neiman Marcus, looking runway-ready in a chic black suit paired with a matching scoop neck top. She completed her elegant look with black stiletto heels, designer sunglasses, and a Dior purse.
In contrast, 18-year-old Zahara opted for a more casual look, sporting a simple white T-shirt and faded jeans. Zahara recently decided to drop her father, Brad Pitt’s last name and enjoyed the relaxed outing with her mother.
Jolie shares six children with her ex-husband Brad Pitt: Maddox (21), Pax (18), Shiloh (16), and twins Vivienne and Knox (14). She is involved in a legal battle with Pitt, seeking full custody of their children.
The famous duo first became romantically linked in 2005, married in August 2014, but separated two years later.
Angelina Jolie’s New Biopic Role
Recently, Jolie has been spotted in Paris wearing various costumes for her upcoming biopic, “Maria.” The film delves into the life of Maria Callas, a legendary and influential opera singer of the 20th century, who passed away at 53 in 1977.
The biopic aims to explore Callas’s life, capturing her as the “original diva,” according to the film’s description. Jolie expressed her dedication to honoring Maria’s life and legacy, stating, “I take very seriously the responsibility to Maria’s life and legacy. I will give all I can to meet the challenge.”
The film is directed by Pablo Larraín, whom Jolie admires greatly. She added, “To be allowed the chance to tell more of Maria’s story with him, and with a script by Steven Knight, is a dream.”
Given Jolie’s Oscar-winning performance in “Girl, Interrupted” (1999) and her Best Actress nomination for “Changeling” (2008), “Maria” is expected to generate significant Oscar buzz.
