Angelina Jolie Ready to Date Again Eight Years After Brad Pitt Split
After years of focusing on her well-being and her children, Angelina Jolie is considering re-entering the dating scene following her difficult divorce from Brad Pitt.
According to an exclusive source who spoke with In Touch, “For years, Angelina didn’t even think of dating.
Not only was she heartbroken and traumatized by the divorce, but she was determined to focus on herself, her health, and her children.”
The source added that it has taken Jolie a long time to reach this point, but she is now slowly opening herself up to the possibility of new relationships.
Another insider elaborated on her journey: “Angelina was stuck in a rut during the drawn-out divorce.”
Jolie, who separated from Pitt in 2016, was often perceived as moody and difficult during that period, but sources indicate this was due to the significant heartache she was experiencing.
As she returns to the dating world, Jolie is clear about what she wants. An insider shared, “Angelina’s not really into the L.A. scene with all the entertainment industry types. She wants to meet interesting people who are passionate about the arts.”
The source further revealed, “She’s looking to date someone who measures up to her standards — even if they’re impossibly high!”
For now, Jolie remains content to focus on her career until she meets someone she considers a “worldly soulmate.” Recently, she collaborated with her youngest daughter, Vivienne, to produce a Broadway musical, which has been a fulfilling project for her.
