In an amusing scene at a sanctuary in Thailand, a young elephant named Khunseuk found himself in a rather awkward predicament.
The incident, captured in a video in Chiang Mai, shows the playful baby elephant with his hind legs caught on top of a wooden fence while his front feet remained on the ground.
The footage reveals Khunseuk struggling to free himself from this unusual position. Balancing precariously on his front feet, he attempts to maneuver his back legs over the fence.
With some effort, the young elephant gets one leg over the top before awkwardly shifting to bring the other leg down to the ground.
Once back on solid ground, Khunseuk eagerly walks toward an older elephant companion, observing the entire event from within the pen.
Khunseuk’s caretaker, puzzled by the situation, confessed that he was unsure how the young elephant ended up in such a tricky spot on May 2.
The caretaker described Khunseuk as having a particularly adventurous personality and an abundance of energy, noting, “I don’t know how he got into that position. He has a very adventurous personality. I’ve never seen a young elephant with so much energy.”
